In 1897 a former French soldier owned the Domaine Selma. He had trained in agriculture and had specialized in improving crops that best fit the most the Tunisian climate.
After the Tunisian independence, the Domaine was gave to local farmers. Thirty years later, a young Tunisian entrepreneur fell in love with the area. He decided to take the challenges and purchased it .
Bold, tenacious and determined, he broke down the barriers one by one. Agile, he overcame all difficulties. With great insight, work and investment, he managed to turn a farm that had been neglected and abandoned into a local pride.
